Ekskursioon algab bussitransfeeriga vastuvõtupunktist Athiniose sadamasse ja jätkub King Thirase paadiga Nea Kameni laavasaarele. Paat peatub Nea Kameni juures ja meil on võimalus tõusta mööda pinnase teed ja läheneda aktiivse vulkaani kraatrile. Pärast kraatri nägemist kõnnime mööda rada tagasi ja läheme paati.
