Morning departure to the restored center of the village of Pëllumbas, where a modern tourist information center has been created. There you can find the necessary maps and buy souvenirs, but also rent a flashlight, useful during a visit inside the cave.
Upon arrival in the village, hike towards Pëllumbas Cave (this is an intermediate trail, walking time approx. 45 minutes). The views of the Osumi River and Mount Dajti will make the experience unforgettable. Pëllumbas Cave, also known as the Black Cave, is valued by specialists as one of the most valuable karst caves in Albania. The interior of the cave, filled with stalactites and stalagmites, is an object of particular value for studying the evolution of the paleogeography of the entire area.
After returning from the cave, free time for a traditional lunch in the village of Pëllumbas. After lunch, departure to Petrela Castle. The castle has a 600-year history and is located in a place with beautiful views of the capital and its surroundings. After visiting the castle, possibility to ride a zip line (optional). Return to hotels.
