Program Description
Get ready to travel through Salzkammergut, a region where Alpine peaks, clear lakes and picturesque towns come together to create some of Austria’s most distinctive scenery. You will see famous Hallstatt, travel along one of the region’s scenic roads and stop at Ort Castle to admire its unique setting and take memorable photographs.
As you travel through Salzkammergut, you will enjoy views of Alpine landscapes, tranquil lakes and towns that have retained their traditional character. The scenic route takes you through some of the region’s most picturesque areas, offering different perspectives of its natural beauty.
One of the main highlights of the trip is Hallstatt. This picturesque town is known for its lakeside setting and the mountains surrounding it. As you explore the area, you will see traditional local architecture and experience the atmosphere of one of Salzkammergut’s best-known destinations.
The journey also includes a stop at Ort Castle, situated on Lake Traunsee. The bridge leading to the castle, often known as the Wedding Bridge, offers a particularly picturesque setting. It is an ideal spot for photographs and a chance to enjoy the scenery of Austria’s lake region.
This trip introduces you to the defining features of Salzkammergut - Alpine landscapes, lakes, traditional towns and the famous village of Hallstatt.

- The Skywalk is closed for the winter break from 7 January 2027 to 29 January 2027.
