On this full-day trip from Vienna, you will travel through the scenic Salzkammergut region, stop at a remarkable lakeside castle, explore Hallstatt on foot and admire its panorama from the water.

As you travel through the Austrian countryside, you will stop at Schloss Orth, a picturesque castle surrounded by the waters of the lake. It is a perfect opportunity to take photos and enjoy your first glimpse of the landscapes that make Salzkammergut so special.

You will then continue to Hallstatt, where you will join a guided walking tour through the town. Discover its most characteristic corners and admire the traditional architecture set against a dramatic Alpine backdrop.

One of the highlights of the day will be a cruise on Lake Hallstatt. From the boat, you can enjoy a different perspective of the town and the surrounding mountains, with peaceful views stretching across the water.

Before returning to Vienna, you will have one last chance to take in the Hallstatt skyline, the lake and the surrounding Alpine peaks.
