Program Description

An extraordinary adventure awaits you in the Sal Island, combining close contact with nature, a touch of adrenaline and breathtaking landscapes. This experience is perfect for both those seeking active relaxation and travelers who prefer a calmer pace while admiring the unique scenery of Cape Verde.

You will set off on horseback to the Santa Maria Salt Flats, known as the “Big Salt Flats”. You will ride up a small hill, offering a spectacular panoramic view of the white salt pans, which contrast beautifully with the deep blue sky. This sight stays in your memory long after the trip ends.

Next, you will head towards Kite Beach, where windy conditions attract kite surfers from all over the world. Colourful kites filling the sky create an unforgettable scene. At the same time, an endless stretch of golden sand opens up before you along the shoreline.

More experienced participants will have the chance to feel the thrill of galloping close to the ocean waves. At the same time, those who prefer a slower pace can relax, and beginners enjoy the scenery at a walking pace, accompanied by professional instructors.

The route continues towards the edge of the Serra Negra Natural Reserve, which is home to cows, donkeys, and endemic bird species of Cape Verde. On the way back, you will return to the stables.

This is a fun and varied trail that lets you discover a lesser-known side of the island.

The order of visits and the program may be subject to change.
