Program Description

Experience a full-day Jeep tour exploring eastern Cyprus with a unique adventure. Start with a the crossing point and enter the northern part of the island, which has been under Turkish occupation since 1974. Drive along the "ghost town" - a sealed-off area where entry is forbidden and arrive at the only accessible section of Varosha. A walk through the abandoned city and down to to the stunning sandy beach. Then, the next stop is the ancient city-kingdom of Salamis, where an optional wander among the majestic ruins is possible. Afterward, a visit to the tomb of Saint Barnabas, the Apostle who brought Christianity to Cyprus. The excursion concludes in Famagusta, surrounded by impressive Venetian walls. Free time for lunch, shopping or simply relaxing with a coffee and a chance to visit Othello's Tower and enjoy panoramic views from the top. Return to the hotels.
