Program Description

Join us for a full-day Jeep Safari in Cyprus, during which you will discover a lesser-known side of the island - far from the resorts and well-trodden routes. This experience is perfect for those who want to explore the wild landscapes of Cyprus, visit traditional villages and taste authentic local flavours in a natural setting.

Your adventure begins at Evretou Dam - a peaceful spot surrounded by rolling hills and Mediterranean vegetation. It is an ideal place to slow down and admire the beauty of the Cypriot countryside.

Next, you will visit a traditional village, where you will have time for a coffee break and a glimpse into everyday local life. Away from tourist crowds, you will experience the island’s authentic atmosphere.

The journey continues to the mouflon reserve - the natural habitat of the rare Cypriot wild sheep. With a bit of luck, you may spot these unique animals in their natural environment and learn more about wildlife protection on the island.

An exciting off-road drive awaits you through Paphos Forest and the Cedar Valley - one of the most unspoilt regions of Cyprus. The route follows mountain tracks and areas where the rare Cypriot cedar grows. Expect striking landscapes and a genuine sense of adventure surrounded by nature.

You will also visit Gialia Monastery - a medieval Georgian monastery hidden among greenery. Its ruins reflect the island’s multicultural past and early Christian heritage.

During the day, you will enjoy a traditional Cypriot picnic in nature, tasting local specialities such as halloumi cheese, olives, pita bread, tahini, tzatziki, fresh salad and fruit. Water and traditional zivania will also be provided.

To finish the day, you will visit a local winery for a wine tasting, including the renowned Commandaria - one of the oldest wines in the world, with a history dating back thousands of years. It is a perfect way to end the experience in true Cypriot style.

The order of visits and the programme may be subject to change.
