On this excursion, you’ll discover Prague from different perspectives – exploring its most iconic landmarks brought to life with stories from your guide.
The tour begins at Republic Square 3, next to the distinctive yellow kiosk by the Powder Tower. From there, you’ll set off with your group through the narrow, atmospheric streets of the Old Town. You’ll pass through the Old Town Square, where you’ll see the Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock (Orloj), and then continue into the Jewish Quarter. Dating back to the 12th century, Josefov was once one of the most significant Jewish communities in Europe. Today, you can find six synagogues there!
After the walk, you’ll board a minibus for a panoramic drive through the city, ending at the Prague Castle – the largest palace complex in the world, listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Within its grounds, you’ll find the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Basilica of St. George, the Golden Lane, and the castle gardens. You may also witness the daily Changing of the Guard in the courtyard. From the castle terraces, you can enjoy sweeping views over Prague.
Following a short break for lunch, you’ll stroll down Nerudova Street through Malá Strana, one of Prague’s oldest districts, lined with historic townhouses and baroque churches. The walk leads to the city’s most famous landmark – the Charles Bridge. From here, you’ll admire views of the Vltava River and Prague’s skyline.
Finally, you’ll board a boat for a cruise on the Vltava River. From there, you have the chance to see Prague from an entirely new angle and relax after a day of sightseeing.
After the cruise, you’ll return on foot across Charles Bridge to the Old Town Square, where the excursion ends.
