Program Description

Get ready for an unforgettable journey to the heart of Wales - a land of rolling green hills, medieval castles, and unique culture. During this one-day trip, you’ll discover the vibrant capital city of Cardiff and the majestic Caerphilly Castle - the largest medieval fortress in Wales. It’s the perfect opportunity to visit another country without the need for a passport!

Travel from London in a coach and, after a few hours, cross the Severn Bridge - the natural border between England and Wales. Upon arrival in Cardiff, you’ll meet a local guide who will take you on a city tour and share stories about this remarkable place.

After the tour, you’ll have some free time to explore on your own - visit Cardiff Castle, drop by the National Museum of Wales, or simply enjoy the local atmosphere at one of the city’s charming cafés.

Next, you’ll head to the impressive Caerphilly Castle - a mighty fortress surrounded by a moat, known for its monumental walls and its leaning tower, often compared to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Together with your guide, you’ll uncover the history of this extraordinary stronghold and its role in Wales’s medieval conflicts. Afterwards, you’ll have time to explore the castle grounds on your own and take memorable photos in this fairytale setting.

After a day full of discovery, you’ll return to London, arriving at around 9:00 PM. The tour concludes at Earls Court, from where you can easily continue your journey back to your accommodation.

The order of sightseeing and itinerary may be subject to change.
