Program Description

Discover Estonia's maritime history with a visit to Seaplane Harbour (Lennusadam), a fascinating museum housed in a historic seaplane hangar on Tallinn's waterfront. Its diverse collection of vessels and maritime exhibits takes you through different chapters of Estonia's seafaring past.

During your visit, you will see historic vessels and maritime artefacts that showcase the development of seafaring and naval history over the centuries. Among the exhibits is the Maasilinn shipwreck - the oldest vessel discovered in Estonian waters - as well as vessels that served during the Soviet era.

Seaplane Harbour is an excellent choice for maritime and history enthusiasts as well as families with children. Its varied exhibitions offer an engaging and accessible way to discover Estonia's rich relationship with the sea.

  • Pets are not permitted inside the museum, with the exception of certified service dogs.
  • Wheelchairs are available upon request at the ticket desk up to 30 minutes before closing time.
  • Large bags are not permitted inside the museum. Lockers are available on-site.
  • Children under 9 years of age enjoy free admission - no ticket is required.
  • Complimentary admission is available on-site for holders of Tallinn, ICOM, press, and WFTGA CULTOUR cards, as well as visitors with disabilities and one accompanying carer, Estonian military personnel, museum guides, and museum employees.
