Program Description

An unforgettable full-day trip into the heart of Provence awaits you, where you experience some of the most breathtaking landscapes of southern France in just one day.

The excursion begins with a departure from Nice, following a scenic route through the area of Gorges du Loup. Upon arrival in Castellane, you will have free time to admire the iconic rock towering above the village and to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Provençal town.

Next, you will discover the Verdon Gorge, often called the Grand Canyon of Europe. It is the largest canyon in Europe, famous for its dramatic cliffs and the intense turquoise-green river flowing at the bottom. You will stop at several panoramic viewpoints offering truly breathtaking views.

The journey continues to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a medieval village, renowned for its faience craftsmanship. Here you will have time for lunch. Depending on weather conditions and your preferences, the guide may alternatively suggest free time at Lake Sainte-Croix, where crystal-clear waters and light-colored shores create a striking natural setting.

During summer, from June to July, the tour also includes a visit to the famous lavender fields. Vast purple landscapes and the unmistakable fragrance of lavender make this one of Provence's most iconic symbols and a perfect photo opportunity.
