Program Description

Visit the Musée de l'Orangerie, one of Paris's leading Impressionist museums, located in the heart of the Tuileries Garden. It is home to Claude Monet's monumental Water Lilies, regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces of Impressionist art.

Housed in a former orangery built in the 19th century, the museum was transformed into an art gallery following Monet's generous donation of his famous paintings. The eight monumental Water Lilies panels were gifted to the French state to commemorate the end of the First World War and continue to captivate visitors with their scale and immersive presentation.

In addition to Monet's works, the museum features masterpieces by leading Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists, including Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Henri Rousseau.

The Musée de l'Orangerie is the perfect destination for visitors seeking an intimate art experience while discovering some of the finest Impressionist masterpieces in Paris.
