What to expect
Pick up from the hotel and transfer in a luxury air-conditioned LIMO VIP minibus to Meteora, during which there will be an opportunity to take photos in the evening light and the guide will talk about the history of the region. The program includes 6 monasteries, including a tour of 1 or 2 of them (visit inside). Then drive and visit the Byzantine Church of the Assumption, one of the most important monuments, which is located in the old town of Kalabaka. Hidden within the walls of the church for hundreds of years were marbles from the ancient temple of Apollo. Today, after removing the plaster, you can see the face of the sun god Helios on them. Finally, drive to the viewpoint on the rocks to watch the beautiful sunset over the Pindos mountain range. A great opportunity to capture in photographs the extraordinary moment when the changing light paints the landscape in shades of pink and gold.

Visitors inside monasteries must be dressed modestly. During the winter season (November-March) visit in 2 monasteries inside instead of the Byzantine church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary
