Program Description

Imagine travelling from the misty jungles of Sumatra to the remote corners of Papua, then finding yourself among landscapes inspired by Africa - all during one visit. Bali Bird Park takes you on a journey through seven regions, where birds live in surroundings inspired by their natural habitats.

As you explore the park, you'll gradually move between different parts of the world. The vegetation, character of each area and the birds that inhabit it change from one region to the next, making your walk through the park about more than simply viewing one aviary after another. It's an opportunity to discover just how diverse the world of birds and their natural environments can be.

Among the park's inhabitants are species from different parts of the globe. In the South American region, you'll see golden macaws and hyacinth macaws - the world's largest parrots, while the area inspired by the South African Savannah is home to the Congo grey parrot. These are just some of the species you can encounter during your visit.

Bali Bird Park also hosts special presentations where you can see birds displaying their natural abilities. Bali Rainforest Free Flight Bird Show features storks and cockatoos, while Basic Instinct showcases eagles and falcons. You can also visit Meet the Bird Stars for more unique encounters with the park's feathered residents.

The park also has an educational role and is involved in protecting global bird biodiversity. Its work includes breeding programmes and initiatives focused on preserving selected species, as well as supporting wild populations through managed releases.

During one visit, you can not only observe birds but also learn more about their habitats and the efforts made to protect threatened species. Each of the seven regions tells its own story, together creating a diverse journey through the world of birds.

Seven regions, birds from different parts of the world and tropical greenery create a place where every corner offers something new. Bali Bird Park gives you the chance to step away from everyday life and immerse yourself in a world where nature, observation and education come together.
