Kintamani is a village on the western shore of the larger Batur volcano caldera, in Bangli region of Bali. A great attraction of this trip is a magnificent view of Lake Batur and Mount Batur - one of the two active on Bali volcanoes, which belongs to the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire. The trip starts with a visit to Batubulan to watch the 12th-century performance of Barong and Keris dance - a classic dance drama about the fight between good and evil. On the way back, a visit to CELUK - Bali's Gold and Silver Centre. Afterwards, proceed to Mas village, known for its unique wood sculpture. Travel through the picturesque Kintamani and continue your trip to Gunung Kawi Sebatu - a complex of ancient temple buildings with lush green gardens, pools filled with crystal clear spring water with ornamental carp and lotus flowers floating on their surface. The last stop of the tour will be the famous Tegalang rice terraces, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the multi-stage green rice fields, where palm trees and bananas grow.
