Pizzo Calabro (Half Day)

Visit charming Pizzo, one of the most characteristic towns of Calabria, beautifully located on the Tyrrhenian coast. The town is known for its atmospheric streets, rich history and the unique combination of historical landmarks and seaside views.

During the excursion, you will see the famous Murat Castle, connected with Joachim Murat - the French general and King of Naples, whose story became an important part of the town’s history. Today, the castle is one of the best-known landmarks of Pizzo and an important symbol of the region’s heritage.

Near the historic centre, you will also visit the remarkable Piedigrotta Church, carved directly into the rock by the sea. Inside, you can admire sculptures created in stone, giving the church its unique and unforgettable atmosphere.

A walk through Pizzo is also a perfect opportunity to experience the relaxed atmosphere of southern Italy and admire the beautiful views of the Calabrian coastline.
