Program Description

A flavour-packed journey through Naples awaits you, where you’ll discover the city the way locals do - strolling through lively streets, uncovering lesser-known corners, and tasting Neapolitan street food. This experience perfectly blends history, everyday city life, and the authentic flavours of southern Italy.

The excursion begins in the very heart of Naples, at the impressive Duomo di San Gennaro, dedicated to the city’s patron saint and the famous miracle of Saint Januarius’ blood. From here, you’ll dive into the vibrant atmosphere of Via dei Tribunali, one of Naples’ most characteristic streets, filled with sounds, aromas, and local energy. This is where you’ll taste tarallo napoletano - a crunchy, slightly spicy snack that is an essential part of Neapolitan culinary tradition.

Next, you’ll head to San Gregorio Armeno, known as the “street of Nativity scenes,” where tradition meets creativity and humour in the workshops of local artisans. Walking among handcrafted figurines, you’ll feel the unique spirit of a place that has symbolised Neapolitan craftsmanship for centuries.

The route then continues along the famous Spaccanapoli - a narrow street cutting through the historic centre, offering a true glimpse into authentic Neapolitan daily life.

As the walk continues, you’ll reach Piazza del Gesù Nuovo, one of the city’s most beautiful squares, surrounded by remarkable architecture and dominated by the distinctive Guglia dell’Immacolata. It’s the perfect spot to slow down and soak in the atmosphere.

The journey then leads you to some of Naples’ most iconic landmarks - the historic Teatro San Carlo, the oldest continuously operating opera house in the world, and the grand Piazza del Plebiscito with its elegant colonnade and majestic statues.

More culinary delights are still to come. While exploring Via Toledo and the lively Spanish Quarter, you’ll try pizza portafoglio - folded pizza, ideal for enjoying on the go. To finish this delicious adventure, you’ll indulge in a classic Neapolitan dessert such as sfogliatella or babà, served with espresso.

This tour lets you experience Naples with all your senses - you’ll see its most important sights, feel the rhythm of the city, and taste flavours that will stay with you long after the journey ends.
