Program Description

Discover the western coast of Sicily on a full-day excursion combining medieval history, breathtaking landscapes and local flavours. Visit the charming hilltop town of Erice, enjoy a scenic cruise across the Stagnone Lagoon and experience the unique atmosphere of Marsala, famous for its wine-making traditions.

Your journey begins with a transfer to Erice, one of Sicily's best-preserved medieval towns. During your free time, you can wander through its narrow cobbled streets, admire historic churches and ancient buildings, browse local artisan shops or taste the town's famous traditional sweets. There will also be time to enjoy lunch at your leisure.

The tour then continues to the Stagnone Lagoon, where you will board a boat for a relaxing cruise. As you sail through this protected natural area, you will admire the beautiful Sicilian coastline and the islands of the Stagnone archipelago, including San Pantaleo, Isola Grande, Schola and Santa Maria.

The final stop is Marsala, a historic seaside town renowned worldwide for its famous fortified wine. During a guided walk, you will discover the city's elegant streets and rich heritage before enjoying a tasting of local wines and traditional Sicilian specialities.

After a day full of unforgettable experiences, you will return to your hotel.
