Program Description
Set off on a journey to one of the most scenic corners of Sicily – the picturesque Madonie Mountains, where nature blends with history and local traditions. This experience offers a chance to discover a more authentic and less explored side of the island.
After breakfast, you will head towards the mountains, known for their lush landscapes and peaceful atmosphere. The highlight of the day is Castelbuono – a lively medieval town full of character. As you stroll through its narrow streets, you will feel the true spirit of Sicily. There will be an opportunity to visit the impressive Ventimiglia Castle, home to the Palatine Chapel with the relics of Saint Anna.
During your visit, you will have time for exploring local markets and tasting typical Sicilian products, famous for their rich flavours and traditional recipes. Next, you will enjoy lunch in a countryside setting, surrounded by greenery – a perfect moment to relax and savour regional cuisine.
On the way back, there will be a short stop in the charming town of Petralia, offering lovely views of the surrounding area. After a day full of discoveries, you will return to your hotel.

Depending on the season, the pickup may not be directly at the hotel due to limited access for large buses. In such cases, a local shuttle (approx. €6 per person, paid on the spot) may be required to reach the general pickup point.
