Program Description
Step inside Doge’s Palace, one of Venice’s most iconic landmarks and the former seat of the rulers of the Venetian Republic. Behind its distinctive Gothic façade lie magnificent interiors that once stood at the heart of the city’s political life.
Explore richly decorated halls featuring grand staircases, triumphal arches, frescoes and works by celebrated Italian masters such as Titian, Veronese, Tiepolo and Tintoretto. The elaborate interiors offer a glimpse into the wealth and power of the former Venetian Republic.
The route also reveals a darker side of the palace’s history. Cross the famous Bridge of Sighs, which once connected Doge’s Palace with the New Prisons and was used by prisoners on their way to their cells.
Important information
- To use the Fast Track entrance, follow the line marked “Pre-paid Ticket”.
- Tickets are valid for individual entry only and cannot be used for guided tours. Using them as part of a guided tour may result in denied entry.
- Please arrive on time. Entry is permitted within 15 minutes of your booked timeslot.
- Access to the Museo Correr, Archaeological Museum and Marciana National Library is available only within 24 hours of your visit to Doge’s Palace.
- Reduced tickets are available for children aged 6–14, students aged 15–25, and visitors aged 65 and over.
