Program Description

Dreaming of an African safari? This adventure combines breathtaking landscapes, close encounters with wildlife, and a unique overnight stay right in the heart of the reserve.

Day 1

After an early morning hotel pick-up, you’ll head towards the Taita Hills Sanctuary, a lush haven for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Accommodation awaits at the remarkable Salt Lick Safari Lodge, where elevated lodges stand on wooden stilts right beside a watering hole. It’s not uncommon for animals to approach. Sometimes, all you need to do is look out your window to spot an elephant or a zebra!

Later, you’ll hop into an open 4x4 vehicle and set off for a game drive through the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. You can see the famous inhabitants of the savanna up close in their natural environment!

After returning to the lodge, lunch will be served, followed by another safari. The day concludes with dinner overlooking the plains.

Those interested can also book a night safari to observe how savanna life transforms after sunset (available at SeePlaces, only for participants of the 2-day trip).

Day 2

Your day begins at sunrise with a morning safari. With a bit of luck and clear skies, you may even glimpse the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

After breakfast and check-out, the adventure continues with a visit to the Ngutuni Reserve - your final chance to spot leopards, elephant families, or herds of buffalo before the journey ends.

After lunch, you will return to Mombasa for your hotel transfer.

This safari is the perfect choice for anyone dreaming of an authentic African adventure that will last a lifetime.

Please note that the order of visits and the program may be subject to change.
