Program Description

The tour will allow you to discover the local culture and some of the most beautiful landscapes with breathtaking trails that will take you from sea level to the highest mountains of Madeira. The tour begins with a drive to Machico Bay on the southeast coast, where the first Portuguese sailors arrived in 1419. We then head to rural villages through the native laurel forest, along old trails suspended from the cliffs, ending the journey in the village of Santana, famous for its traditional thatched houses. Return to the hotel.
