Program Description

Discover a calmer and greener side of Malta on a full-day trip to Gozo – an island known for its scenic landscapes, rich history and traditional crafts.

Your journey begins with a short ferry crossing of approximately 20 minutes, arriving at Mgarr harbour, where you will immediately feel the island’s unique atmosphere. You will then continue the tour with your guide.

One of the highlights is a visit to the Ġgantija Temples – among the oldest free-standing monuments in the world, even older than the Egyptian pyramids. This remarkable site offers insight into the earliest civilisations of the Maltese islands.

The tour continues to the Citadel in Victoria, a medieval fortress overlooking the island and offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. You will then visit the picturesque bay of Xlendi, often compared to a fjord, followed by the impressive natural site of Dwejra, known for its unique rock formations and rugged coastal scenery.

During the day, there will be a break for lunch.

Gozo is also famous for its local crafts, especially handmade lace and knitted products. The island impresses with its lush countryside, peaceful atmosphere and a character distinctly different from the busier island of Malta.

The tour in the selected language operates subject to a minimum number of participants.

The order of the itinerary and the programme may be subject to change.

Important information
The tour in Polish will be done with either a Polish-speaking guide or with an English-speaking guide together with a native Polish host acting as a translator

to be in Malta and not to be in Gozo is not to be in Malta - Gozo is a unique atmospheric island, especially in April when it is still green and not so hot.

I was very pleased with the way the tour was run, especially the selection of attractions and the guide`s narration. A slight downside was the restaurant choice – the food was very good, but...
