Program Description

Gozo is renowned for its peaceful atmosphere, spectacular landscapes and rich history dating back thousands of years. This full-day jeep tour is the perfect way to explore the island's most important landmarks while reaching scenic locations that are often inaccessible to larger vehicles.

Your adventure begins with a ferry crossing from Malta to Gozo. Upon arrival, you will board a jeep and set off to discover the island's most remarkable attractions and breathtaking viewpoints. The first stop is Qala Belvedere, one of Gozo's most famous viewpoints, offering stunning panoramas of Comino Island and the crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon.

The tour continues to Ramla Bay, famous for its distinctive red-golden sandy beach, before heading to Xewkija to visit the impressive Rotunda of St John the Baptist. This remarkable church is renowned for its enormous dome, one of the largest unsupported domes in the world.

You will also visit the Ġgantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest free-standing monuments ever built by humanity, predating even the Egyptian pyramids.

The route then takes you to the dramatic Sanap Cliffs, the picturesque Xlendi Bay and the famous Ta' Pinu Basilica, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Maltese Islands. You will also explore Dwejra Bay, known for its striking coastal scenery and unique geological formations, as well as Marsalforn Bay and the traditional salt pans that stretch along Gozo's northern coastline.

A lunch break at a local restaurant is included, followed by free time in Victoria, the island's capital. Here, you can stroll through its charming streets, browse local shops or relax in one of the cafés. During the summer season, the programme also includes a stop at one of Gozo's beaches with free time for swimming.

After a day of sightseeing and exploration, you will return by ferry to Malta and transfer back to your hotel.

The order of the itinerary and the programme may be subject to change.
