Program Description

At the beginning the route leads along the coast and then a little further inland. Goats on trees are often seen here because they can't find food on the ground, climb trees and eat leaves and fruit. Essaouira is a former Phoenician port called Mogador by the Portuguese. This magnificent Atlantic fortress, in white and blue tones, delights with its narrow streets and alleyways, fishing harbor and art shops. An ideal place to buy Moroccan handicrafts, especially the world-famous tui, cedar and ebony wood products. Walk around the city: a fishing port, a defensive wall with antique cannon cannons, an old mellah - a Jewish quarter.
