Program Description
Discover the traditions of Moroccan craftsmanship during a hands-on pottery workshop led by a skilled local artisan. This experience offers an opportunity to learn about traditional pottery techniques and create a unique handmade souvenir from Morocco.
After pick-up from Agadir or Taghazout, a transfer will take you to a traditional pottery studio. There, a local master potter will introduce the different types of clay used in Morocco and explain the basics of working with this natural material.
The main part of the workshop focuses on working with a pottery wheel. Under the artisan's guidance, participants will learn how to centre and shape the clay while creating their own ceramic piece.
During the workshop, there will be a break for traditional Moroccan mint tea, accompanied by stories about the history and cultural importance of Moroccan ceramics. Afterwards, the final touches and decorative elements will be added to the handmade piece.
The finished creation will be carefully packed, providing a handmade souvenir from Morocco to take home. At the end of the workshop, a return transfer is provided.
The itinerary and programme may be subject to change.
