Program Description

Pick-up from the hotels. Drive to Auschwitz concentration camp, a global symbol of the Holocaust and mass genocide. Established in mid-1940 on the outskirts of Auschwitz, it is where thousands of innocent people fell victim to the Nazi regime. In 1979, the camp was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as "Auschwitz-Birkenau. German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp (1940-1945)," being the only such site listed by UNESCO. Today, the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum operates at the site of the camp and serves as a commemorative space. The tour is guided through the permanent exhibition and the preserved buildings at Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II - Birkenau. Return to hotels.

Chosen excursion available subject to minimal number of 4 participants.
