Program Description
Morning departure from the hotel heading north to visit Museu Etnográfico do Cardina with wine tasting from Porto Santo Wines. This museum has an octagonal shape to resemble the format of a typical Porto Santo windmill it also contains alcoves around the walls. In this museum we can find antique tools, farming implements and also scale models of many natural water fountains that exist on the island with the purpose of preserving local culture. We follow our journey to the city pear where in olds times vessels embarqued and desembarqued, to Padrão dos Descobrimentos heading to Igreja da Nossa Senhora da Piedade and Museu Cristovão Colombro.
Lastly a tasting of traditional island snacks before returning to the hotel.
