Off road adventure

Great adventure and wonderful views! Pick up from the hotel and  transfer to the southwest of the island. Stop at the Flores viewpoint, with a panoramic view of the east of the island - in good weather you can also see Madeira from here. Then drive to the Morenos viewpoint, where there is a network of volcanic canals. Drive to Pico da Ana Ferreira with a very rare volcanic formation - prismatic rock pillars. Then the route leads to Quinta das Palmeiras with a minizoo and a small botanical garden. Free time for admiring the exotic birds and plants. Then drive north, through Fonte da Areia to Casa da Serra, to taste local wine and typical cookies. At the end, a visit to the Portela viewpoint, with a panoramic view of the west of the island and the characteristic windmills. Return to the hotel.
