Porto Santo Island Tour

Delightful views and unique climate - a great opportunity to explore the charms of the island! Pick up from the hotel. Transfer to the southwestern side of Porto Santo. First stop in Ponta do Calheta with a small port, where in good weather you can see Madeira. Then drive to the Moinho das Lombas viewpoint, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the beach and the ocean, and where you can see the characteristic windmills. Then go on to Pico to Castelo (437 m), which used to be a shelter from attacks by pirates and corsairs. Free time to admire the picturesque views of the island. Then a visit to the ethnographic museum Museu do Cardina and tasting local wine. The museum building is octagonal in shape, resembling local windmills. Drive through the Serra de Dentro and the Serra de Fora to the Portela viewpoint, with a panoramic view of the west of the island and the characteristic windmills. Return to the hotel.
