Program Description

Immerse yourself in the times of the Portuguese Discoveries. Departure towards  Lagos, passing by stunning white sandy beaches. In addition to the gorgeous beaches, the bars and restaurants, this city also played a part in several stories from the time of the Portuguese Discoveries. Observe the Statue of Henry the Navigator, who set sail from Lagos in 1415 to begin the era of Portuguese maritime discoveries. The Antonino Museum, located inside Saint Anthony’s Church, dated back to the 18th century, is another place we’ll be sure to visit. Our trip will continue West, where we’ll make a stop at Ponta da Piedade, to admire the magnificent rocky towers that rise up from the sea. We’ll then continue towards the picturesque village of Sagres, where we’ll explore the historic centre, and, at its charming harbour, you won’t want to miss out on the change to snap that perfect picture. We’ll end the tour with a stop at Cabo de São Vicente [Cape St. Vincent], the most south-western point of continental Europe.
