The excursion begins with a traditional boat trip to the island on Lake Bled, the world-famous Alpine lake renowned for a medieval castle perched on a cliff above the lake. Visit the 15th-century church and admire the bird's eye view of the lake and its island. Return to the shore and visit the museum in the oldest castle in Slovenia, picturesquely located on a cliff, high above the lake. Then a short walk and time to relax in the cafe, where it is worth tasting the traditional creamsnita cake. Not far from Bled is the Pokljuka plateau, covered in amazing forests that are a part of Triglav National Park which stretches all the way to Bohinj Lake. The next point of the trip is Bohinj Lake, one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia and the largest alpine lake in the country. The programme also includes a visit to the Vintgar gorgeravine, carved in limestone through the Radovna River, one of the country's biggest tourist attractions (only available in the summer season).
