Program Description

A tour of South Africa's largest city, Johannesburg, a bustling metropolis where the country's radical political and social changes are evident. The tour begins with a hotel pickup. The first site visited will be Constitution Hill, home to one of South Africa's most famous buildings, the Constitutional Court, and the historic Old Fort Prison. During the tour, participants will learn about the impact that the discovery of gold had on the city. Next, a visit to the Carlton Centre skyscraper, measuring as much as 223 meters, from where you will enjoy amazing views - in good weather you can even see the city of Pretoria from here. The last item on the agenda is a walk through the Maboneng district, full of stores and restaurants. Return to hotels.
