Program Description

Excursion to the heart of the Pyrenees that combines Alpine nature, culture, and the history of three countries. It's the perfect option for those looking to escape Barcelona for a day to admire the mountain scenery.

The day begins with a visit to Mont-Louis, a charming town in the French Pyrenees, famous for its mountain setting, ski resorts and hot springs.

You will have free time to explore local flavours - including regional cheeses - and enjoy the picturesque surroundings at your pace.

The next stop is Circ de Pessons, one of the most spectacular spots in the Pyrenees. From here, you will admire views of the highest mountain pass in the region and the panorama of the Grandvalira ski area, which attracts winter sports enthusiasts in the colder months and impresses with its raw alpine scenery in summer.

Afterwards, you will head towards Andorra la Vella, the capital of the small yet fascinating Principat d’Andorra. Even the journey itself offers stunning views of Pyrenean valleys and mountain peaks. Once there, the guide will introduce you to Andorra’s unique history and political system, showing key landmarks such as Casa de la Vall, the 12th-century Church of Sant Esteve, and the distinctive Dalí Clock, one of the city's symbols. It’s an excellent opportunity to understand better how this remarkable country, nestled between France and Spain, functions.

At the end of the day, you will set off on the return journey to Barcelona, enjoying the last views of the Pyrenees and taking with you unforgettable memories from a day full of discoveries beyond the city.

The order of sightseeing and the program may be subject to change.
