Program Description

Step into different corners of Spain during your visit to Poble Espanyol in Barcelona. Spread across 40,000 m², this unique space resembles a real village, where architecture, local craftsmanship and art reflect the diversity of Spanish culture.

Poble Espanyol was created in 1929 for the Barcelona International Exposition. As you walk around, you will see 117 buildings inspired by the architecture of different regions of Spain, ranging from Romanesque to Baroque styles. Wander through the streets and squares at your own pace and take in the details characteristic of different parts of the country.

Your visit is also a chance to see traditional Spanish craftsmanship up close. In the workshops operating throughout Poble Espanyol, you can watch artisans working with materials such as leather, glass and iron. You can also browse local craft shops and stop for tapas at one of the restaurants on site.

Your ticket also includes admission to the Fran Daurel Museum, whose collection features more than 300 works of contemporary art. Among them are pieces by renowned artists such as Picasso, Dalí and Miró.

The ticket includes skip-the-line access, so you can begin your visit to Poble Espanyol on Montjuïc without unnecessary waiting. To learn more about the history and architecture of Poble Espanyol, it is worth using the audio guide.
