Program Description

Malaga is a city where Andalusian history meets art, Mediterranean charm and elegant boulevards. During this tour, you will discover its most iconic spots - from panoramic viewpoints, through Roman and Moorish landmarks, to places connected with Pablo Picasso.

Your journey begins with a transfer to the Gibralfaro viewpoint, where you will admire Malaga from a completely different perspective. It’s the perfect place to take in sweeping views of the city, the port and the coastline, and to feel the atmosphere of one of the most important destinations on the Costa del Sol.

You will then head down towards the City Hall and start a walking tour through the centre, exploring Malaga’s highlights. Along the way, you will pass the port and the modern Pompidou Centre, whose colourful design reflects the city’s artistic spirit. You will also stroll along Paseo del Parque, a lush and elegant promenade, and see the Bank of Spain and the University Rectorate, showcasing Malaga’s refined urban character.

The tour also includes key historical landmarks. You will see the Roman Theatre, a reminder of Malaga’s ancient past, and visit the impressive Alcazaba, a Moorish fortress that has overlooked the city for centuries. These sites reveal how different cultures have shaped Malaga over time.

Next, your walk continues through Plaza de la Merced, home to a statue of Pablo Picasso, and along Granada Street, one of the most atmospheric streets in the old town. You will also pass by the Picasso Museum, highlighting Malaga as the birthplace of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

You will also see El Sagrario Church, the impressive Cathedral, and the Episcopal Palace, forming one of the most representative areas of the historic centre. The tour ends near Plaza de la Constitución, along the famous Larios Street, and at the vibrant Atarazanas Market, where you can experience the colours, flavours and daily life of Malaga.

This tour is perfect if you want to discover the essence of the city in a short time - its history, art and local atmosphere. Malaga captivates with its diversity, and walking its streets allows you to feel how tradition and modern life blend seamlessly.
