Program Description

A trip to the Benedictine Monastery and Basilica of the statue of the Black Madonna in Montserrat built on a narrow ledge. This place not only has religious significance, but it is also great for enthusiasts of the mountains, rock climbing and hiking. Another highlight is a visit to the wineyards in the Penedes region, where in the 19th century the first bottle of CAVA, a Catalan sparkling wine, was produced. Train journey through the oldest parts of the wineyard will take you back in time and show you the secret of production of the famous “Catalan champagne”.
