Program Description
What if, this time, you didn’t just visit a museum, but tried to solve it? At Itsasmuseum in Bilbao, an escape room inspired by true events from the history of one of Spain’s most important industrial ports awaits you. You have one hour, a team and a series of puzzles to solve before you can find your way out.
In this game, history is more than just a backdrop. Mysterious clues, museum artefacts, and an atmosphere enhanced by light and sound will guide you through the different stages of the mystery. You’ll piece together facts, follow hidden clues and see whether you can spot what might easily go unnoticed at first glance.
The escape room offers a different way to experience Bilbao’s maritime heritage. Instead of learning about its history in the traditional way, you’ll become part of the story, with real objects from the museum helping to bring the experience to life.
You have just 60 minutes to solve the mystery. The clock will keep ticking, while each new clue could bring you closer to the answer - or lead you down a dead end. Observation, creativity and teamwork will all play a part.
This experience is for those who want to learn about Bilbao’s history but would rather solve a mystery than follow a traditional museum tour. One hour, real museum artefacts and the history of a port city turned into a game - all that’s left is to see whether you can find your way out in time.
