Program Description
As night falls, the streets of Bangkok come alive with lights, the aromas of local food and the buzz of the city. Hop aboard a traditional tuk tuk and set off on an evening ride to experience the sights, flavours and atmosphere of Thailand’s capital.
During the tour, you will visit local markets and temples, while the compact tuk tuk makes it easy to travel through busy areas and narrow streets. It is a great opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of Bangkok after dark and catch a glimpse of everyday local life.
You will also have a chance to try local Thai snacks along the way. An English-speaking guide will accompany you throughout the tour, sharing stories, interesting facts and insights about the city and the places you visit.
This evening tuk tuk tour of Bangkok combines sightseeing, local flavours and a ride in one of Thailand’s most iconic forms of transport. City lights, bustling streets and night markets create the perfect setting to experience the lively atmosphere of Bangkok after dark.
The order of sightseeing and the itinerary are subject to change.
Important information
- There is a maximum of 12 guests per tour, with 2-3 guests travelling in each tuk tuk.
- A small amount of walking is involved.
- The restaurants and food outlets visited may vary from day to day.
- At night, the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho cannot be seen, but you will still be able to explore the temple grounds.
- The tour ends at the Flower Market.
- The tour operates rain or shine. Umbrellas will be provided in case of rain.
- Alcohol consumption is not permitted during the tour.
- After the tour, you can request a free drop-off at your hotel, provided it is located in central Bangkok.
- Meeting point: Krung Thonburi BTS (Skytrain) Station, Exit 1. Meet at the top of the stairs, before going down to street level. Make sure you are at Exit 1 on the Green Line (Silom Line), not the Gold Line. You should see a Lawson 108 convenience store nearby. Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts and show your smartphone ticket to the Expique staff member.
- Your guide will be wearing a light-coloured polo shirt with the Expique logo.
