Thai cuisine is considered one of the best and most original in the world. Over the centuries, it has been influenced by Chinese and Indian cuisine. Despite clear external influences, the originality of Thai cuisine stems mainly from the original ingredients used by the Thais. One of the most characteristic is coconut milk and a range of aromatic spices such as lemongrass, fresh ginger, and lime leaves. The dishes are also very spicy and aromatic. Seafood plays an important role among the ingredients of the dishes.
We will begin our culinary adventure with a visit to a local market to purchase the necessary ingredients and spices. After shopping, we will travel to a cooking school, where each participant will get to work and prepare several Thai delicacies. Work stations will be prepared for the participants, where they will have fun chopping, cutting, cooking, mixing, and seasoning dishes. A Thai cuisine master will assist with the cooking and supervise our students at each stage of the process. We have planned to teach participants how to cook three dishes and one dessert. The culinary efforts will culminate in the consumption of the delicacies prepared by the participants themselves. In the afternoon, we will return to the hotel.
