Program Description

DAY 1: We begin our journey by visiting Tunisia's holy city of Kairouan and the oldest mosque in North Africa. Overcoming the salt glistening wilderness, we will also reach the Atlas Mountains to see the fairytale mountain oasis of Chebika. Overnight in Tunisia's largest oasis - now the city of Touzer, which comes to life at night to allow visitors to immerse themselves in traditional Berber culture.

DAY 2: An exciting excursion awaits us - a thrilling drive through Tunisia's largest salt lake, Chott El Jerid. Then we will reach the town of Douz, known as the "Gates of the Sahara". It is here that we will have the opportunity to feel the breath of the largest desert in the world, and thrill-hungry guests will overcome the sand dunes on the back of camels. The next point of the program will be Matmata - a place that will surprise everyone with its fanciful "lunar" landscape. In hollowed-out houses in the rocks here lived until recently the descendants of the Berbers, one of these unusual houses we will visit. The tour will end with a visit to El Jem, where there is the only Roman amphitheater in the world so beautifully preserved. Standing in the arena, you will feel like triumphant gladiators in the days of "bread and games."
