Program Description

On this half-day excursion you will first visit the administrative capital of the region, Nabeul. In the 5th century B.C. Nabeul was founded by Greeks under the name of Neapolis and then came under Roman influence. From Nabeul you drive to Hammamet. The fishing village was discovered at the beginning of the 20th century by famous artists such as Paul Klee, August Macke and Oscar Wilde. On a self guided tour you explore the small medina with the Sidi Gailani Mosque and the alleys of the souks. Here you can browse for suitable souvenirs. Do not miss to visit the Kasbah at the edge of the Medina.
