Program Description

One of the most remarkable places in northern Vietnam is the Trang An complex and the impressive Bai Dinh Pagoda, where spirituality meets breathtaking natural scenery. This tour allows you to discover both monumental temples and peaceful waterways surrounded by limestone landscapes.

Pickup will be from your hotel or a designated meeting point, followed by a journey towards Ninh Binh. Your first stop will be the impressive Bai Dinh Pagoda – the largest Buddhist temple complex in Vietnam and an important spiritual site. This vast complex is known not only for its scale but also for its unique atmosphere. You will see hundreds of statues, including 500 Arhat figures – enlightened disciples of Buddha honoured in Buddhist tradition – as well as the monumental bronze Buddha statue, one of the largest in the country.

After the visit, enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, where you will taste regional dishes and local flavours.

The journey continues to the stunning Trang An complex – a vast natural area of rivers, caves and limestone formations, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will board a traditional boat and cruise through a network of waterways and grottoes. Passing through natural caves such as Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave and Nau Ruou Cave, you will discover unspoilt landscapes surrounded by dramatic limestone karsts rising sharply from the scenery.

In the evening, you will return to Hanoi, bringing the day to a close after exploring one of Vietnam’s most scenic regions.

The order of the tour and programme may be subject to change.
