Hanoi evening tour with cyclo & water puppet show

Hanoi takes on a completely different atmosphere in the evening – vibrant streets, the aroma of local food and traditions that have been preserved for centuries. This tour lets you experience the city from a new perspective and enjoy its unique night-time charm.

Pickup will be from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter or a designated meeting point. The evening begins with a performance of the traditional water puppet show, one of Vietnam’s most distinctive cultural experiences. Combining music, storytelling and puppetry, the show brings local legends and daily life to the stage in a truly unique way.

Next, you will hop on a traditional cyclo – a three-wheeled vehicle that has become a symbol of Hanoi – and ride towards Hoan Kiem Lake, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. This area is a central gathering point for locals and is especially atmospheric after dark.

After the ride, enjoy a walk through the streets of the Old Quarter, where you will discover the city’s lively night scene and taste authentic Vietnamese street food, including the famous pho (beef noodle soup). It’s a great way to experience the flavours and everyday life of Hanoi.

At the end of the evening, you will return to your hotel or the agreed meeting point after experiencing one of the most atmospheric sides of the city.
