Trip to Ancient Capital Hoa Lu & Tam Coc - Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi

Pickup will be from your hotel or a designated meeting point, followed by a journey south towards the former capital of Vietnam - Hoa Lu. This historic site once served as the political centre of the country. You will visit temples dedicated to emperors Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, known for their intricate architecture, detailed carvings and unique historical atmosphere.

Next, you will board a traditional boat and set off on a relaxing cruise along the Ngo Dong River, which winds through the stunning Tam Coc region. You will pass through three natural caves - Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba - carved by the river over thousands of years. The surrounding scenery of limestone karsts and lush rice fields creates one of the most iconic landscapes in Vietnam.

After the cruise, enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, offering a taste of regional cuisine. Later, hop on a bike for a gentle ride through the countryside. Cycle through traditional villages, observe local life and experience the calm, authentic side of Vietnam.
