Program Description

Set in a lush valley surrounded by hills, My Son Sanctuary is one of Vietnam’s most important archaeological sites and a remarkable legacy of the ancient Cham civilisation. It is a place where history, spirituality and architecture come together in a unique setting.

You will travel from Hoi An to My Son, where you will explore temple ruins hidden within the natural landscape. For centuries, this site served as the religious centre of the Champa Kingdom, hosting royal ceremonies and serving as a burial place for kings and national heroes.

As you walk through the complex, you will see the remains of red-brick temples that have stood the test of time. The architecture of My Son is often compared to other historical sites across Southeast Asia, making it a truly distinctive destination.

Recognised for its cultural and historical importance, the site has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After the visit, you will return to Hoi An.
