Program Description

Visit Taronga Zoo Sydney and begin the experience with a scenic ferry ride across Sydney Harbour. The journey offers views of the city before reaching one of Sydney's most famous attractions, located just around 12 minutes from the city by ferry.

Taronga Zoo is home to more than 4,000 animals, including native Australian wildlife as well as rare and endangered species from around the world. Its location overlooking Sydney Harbour adds impressive city and waterfront views to the experience.

The visit also features animal presentations. The free-flight bird show showcases spectacular birds in action, while the daily seal show features Australian and Californian sea lions and New Zealand fur seals demonstrating their skills and natural behaviours.

The ticket also includes a return ferry journey, making the trip across Sydney Harbour part of the experience.

From 20 July to 28 August 2026, departures from Circular Quay Wharf 6 are temporarily unavailable. During this period, the ferry departs from Harbour Masters Steps - Circular Quay.
Before departure, collect your Taronga Zoo ticket from the Fantasea Cruising ticket office at Circular Quay Wharf 6. The office remains open as usual.
