Program Description
Step inside Landeszeughaus, the world's largest historic armoury, and discover one of Europe's most impressive collections of military artefacts. Home to more than 32,000 original weapons and suits of armour, this remarkable museum offers a fascinating journey through the military history of Styria and Central Europe.
As you explore the four floors of the armoury, you'll encounter an extraordinary collection of swords, spears, halberds, muskets, cannons and armour, all preserved in their original setting. Each exhibit tells the story of the region's turbulent past and the important role Styria played in defending the Habsburg Empire.
The museum provides a unique insight into centuries of military craftsmanship, historical conflicts and the evolution of weaponry, making it an unmissable attraction for history enthusiasts and anyone interested in Europe's rich cultural heritage.
