Program Description
Parque de la Conservación in Medellín is dedicated to wildlife and biodiversity conservation. The park is home to numerous animal species, and a visit offers insight into their habitats, behaviour and the importance of protecting the natural world.
Among the park’s residents are spectacled bears, jaguars, pumas, flamingos, monkeys, anacondas, alligators and numerous bird species. Visitors can also observe invertebrates, including colourful butterflies, as well as species with remarkable characteristics and adaptations to life in the wild.
The visit also has a strong educational focus. Exhibitions and information throughout the park provide insight into the animals’ lives, explain why particular species are cared for there, and highlight the importance of protecting biodiversity in South America.
Parque de la Conservación combines wildlife observation with environmental education, placing emphasis on responsible species conservation and the protection of natural habitats.

- Food may be brought into the park, but eating during the tour and feeding the animals are not permitted. Food may only be consumed in designated areas.
- Children under 2 years old enter free of charge.
- Last admission is one hour before closing.
