Program Description
White sandy beaches, turquoise waters and palm trees lining the shore - Saona Island is home to some of the Dominican Republic’s most beautiful tropical scenery. This full-day excursion from Punta Cana combines relaxation on a Caribbean beach, swimming in a natural pool and a lively cruise across the Caribbean Sea.
The journey begins with a transfer to Bayahíbe, a coastal village where you will board a speedboat bound for the island. Along the way, there will be a stop at the famous Natural Pool, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Its shallow, crystal-clear waters provide an inviting setting for a leisurely swim and a chance to appreciate the coastal scenery.
The speedboat will then continue to Saona Island, known for its stretches of white sand, swaying palm trees and tropical vegetation. Enjoy free time on the island at your own pace - relax in the shade of the palms, stroll along the shoreline or swim in the warm sea. During your stay, a Dominican buffet lunch with drinks will be served, offering a taste of local cuisine.
The return journey takes place aboard a catamaran, where music, dancing and entertainment provided by the crew create a lively Caribbean atmosphere. An open bar will also be available throughout the cruise, allowing you to enjoy refreshing drinks as you sail back towards the mainland. It is a vibrant finale to a day spent on one of the Dominican Republic’s most scenic islands.
